Will I sweat a lot?

Not necessarily. Everyone is different, and for some, it may take a week or longer before your pores begin to open more during sauna sessions and release sweat in any meaningful volume. Also, even if you don’t sweat a lot, it’s possible to increase the detoxification and elimination of impurities through your kidneys as well (see question below on cellulite). If that’s the case, the toxins will instead exit out though the urine, and/or the feces.

Over time, you’ll generally begin to sweat more, and when you do, it’s actually a good thing—as that signals detoxification and elimination through the skin organ is potentially accelerating.

There are also many other health benefits associated with sweating on a regular basis, provided you replenish the lost water. So sweat away!
